Privacy Policy

Wayfinder ("we", "us") provides AI-assisted Bible study and a faith community. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is processed.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address, display name, optional bio and avatar image.
• Content you create — questions you ask, verses you trace, items you save, and messages you post in community rooms.
• Voice recordings — when you use voice input, the audio you record is sent to OpenAI's API for transcription. We do not retain the raw audio after transcription.
• Age confirmation & consent — your confirmation that you are 13 years or older and your acceptance of our Terms.

How your data is processed

• The text of your questions, traces, and the audio you record for voice input are sent to OpenAI's API to generate study answers, read-aloud audio, and transcriptions. OpenAI processes this data under its own API data policies and does not use API data to train its models.
• Your messages in community rooms are stored so other members of the same room can read them. Messages pass through an automated safety filter and a human moderation queue.

What we do NOT do

• We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
• We do not sell your personal information.

Your rights

• You may edit your profile, change your email/password, and delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete Account).
• You may also request deletion without logging in via our Account Deletion page.
